MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 14, 2016 MEETING
Meeting was called to order at 10:30 by Ralph
In attendance were Ralph; Pat; Joe; Dotty; Richard; Jud & Jeanine Boardman; Jim Morse; Don Bean & Carol Blakeslee
Minutes of meeting of August 10, 2016 were read
Motion to accept made by Joe, seconded by Dotty vote to accept was unanimous.
Treasurers report by Dotty –All current bills paid
Flu Clinic scheduled for Wednesday October 12th from 12:30 to 2:30 PM. Flyers posted on several locations in the Town Hall
File of Life program underway. Response seems to be good.
Discussion on senior affairs and Attorney Marten O’Connell suggested to hold off until 2017
2017 Trips:
March 17th Celtic Crossings Chez Josef Waiting for final pricing and hand-outs
April 6th Proctors and Sound of Music booked stand-by list
May 23rd River Rose Cruise booked with Friendship Tours waiting on hand-outs
June 20th Tall Ships out of Plymouth – Waiting for final pricing and hand-outs
July 17-19 3-day trip to Pennsylvania Dutch and sight and sound booked – stand-by
list
August 22nd Newport Playhouse Lobster-fest “Baggage” Waiting for final pricing and hand-outs
September – Aqua-turf and Motown show – waiting for pricing and hand-outs
October- Williams Inn – waiting for date and pricing – possible problems might need to get another venue
Roundtable:
Pat & Joe – have a P&SW on their home looks like they are Florida bound
Ralph – Camera is broken – Pat made a suggestion that the COA buy a replacement
