MINUTES OF AUGUST 9, 2017 COUNCIL ON AGING MEETING
Meeting was called to order at 10:40 by Ralph
In attendance were Ralph; Dottie; Carol; Joe Rock; Richard; Jud & Jeannine Boardman.
Minutes of meeting of June 14, 2017 were read, motion to accept as read made by Dottie, seconded by Richard: vote to accept was unanimous.
Dottie: Treasurers report by Dottie –All current bills paid, we are getting timely bank statements; Our on-line banking is giving up-to-date information.
Ralph: Review of the trip surveys. Top 3 of the day trips were: Winnipesaukee RR trip; Green Mtn. foliage on Vermont RR and Whale watch from Plymouth MA.
We have committed to St. Patrick’s Day at Castle of Knights, Chicopee on Tuesday, March 13th and Country Jamboree at the Log Cabin on Tuesday April 17th.
Will get info on these trips as far as date, time and costs.
Ralph: Volunteers for transportation – Trying to set up meeting with other COA’s to pool our resources. Jane will pick up Carol Dickenson for the Bar-B-Q. Will advise on meeting date and time.
Ralph: Would like everyone to create a job listing for our COA, so that we may assign duties.
