BRTA NOTICE

Good Afternoon – As BRTA ridership has increased, more of our customers are reliant upon our service to bring them to work or home from work.  BRTA has been struggling to maintain the current service levels even with additional operators.

At the risk of becoming unreliable because of route cancellations, the following temporary services changes will become effective on Monday May 20.  The net effect of the suspensions and additions will be a reduction of 17 service hours per day.

These targeted suspensions should result in a net increase of 3 or 4 available operators to pick from other work and guard against continued cancellations. Modified/suspended trips would be gradually restored as the driver pool is increased (either through returning employees off leave or with new hires).
