Notice is hereby given that the Otis Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a public hearing on Monday, October 2, 2023, at 7:00 PM. This will be a Virtual Meeting

Pursuant to the Governor’s March 12, 2020 order suspending and the Governor’s June 16, 2021 order amending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, Sec 18, this meeting is being held via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. Every effort is being made to ensure that any member of the public may access the meeting in real time, via technological means. Agendas will be amended to show the link and participation code to access the meeting no sooner than 48 hours before. Recordings and/or draft proceedings of the meeting will be available on our website as soon as possible.
Subject of said hearing will be the application of George Martin, for a Zoning By-Law Special Permit under Sec. 3.3.3 of the Otis Zoning by-laws to demolish existing house and construct new house and garage, thus increasing the West Setback from thirteen feet one inch (13’ 1”) to thirteen feet six inches (13’ 6”), increasing the Front Setback from five feet four inches (5’ 4”) to five feet seven and one-quarter inches (5’ 7 ¼”) and increasing the Rear setback from one foot seven and five-eights inches (1’ 7 5/8”) to one foot ten and three-quarter inches (1’ 10 ¾”).
The lot is listed in the Otis Assessor’s records on Map 15 as Lot 45; located at 1010 Reservoir Road, Otis, MA.
