Notice is hereby given that the Otis Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a public meeting on

MONDAY, November 6, 2023 at 7:00 PM

This is a virtual meeting and will be conducted remotely through Zoom.

You must check back within 48 hours of the start time for a link to join.

Pursuant to the Governor’s March 12, 2020 order suspending and the Governor’s June 16, 2021 order amending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, Sec 18, this meeting is being held via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. Every effort is being made to ensure that any member of the public may access the meeting in real time, via technological means. Agendas will be amended to show the link and participation code to access the meeting no sooner than 48 hours before. Recordings and/or draft proceedings of the meeting will be available on our website as soon as possible.

The agenda is as follows:

  1. Open Meeting/Introductions
  2. To hear and act upon the application of Bill and Sunday Burke, for a Zoning By-Law Special Permit under Sec. 3.3.5 of the Otis Zoning by-laws to construct an addition to be used as a garage with living space. Dwelling to have a front setback of thirteen feet five inches (13’ 5”).

 

  1. To hear and act upon the application of George Martin, for a Zoning By-Law Special Permit under Sec. 3.3.3 of the Otis Zoning by-laws to demolish existing house and construct new house and garage, thus increasing the West Setback from thirteen feet one inch (13’ 1”) to thirteen feet six inches (13’ 6”), increasing the Front Setback from five feet four inches (5’ 4”) to five feet seven and one-quarter inches (5’ 7 ¼”) and increasing the Rear setback from one foot seven and five-eighths inches (1’ 7 5/8”) to one foot ten and three-quarter inches (1’ 10 ¾”).

 

  1. To hear and act upon the application of Ronald Nadeau and Jean-Guy Nadeau, for a Zoning By-Law Special Permit under Sec. 3.3.3 of the Otis Zoning by-laws to demolish existing garage and construct a two-car garage, twenty-two feet by twenty-three feet (22’ X 23’), thus decreasing the front setback from thirty-one feet (31’) to twenty-one feet (21’).

  3. Update from the Building Inspector
