- Approval of minutes.
Approval of 10/28/2020 meeting minutes
- Annual budget discussion
Approved FY 22 Technology budget. Budget is level funded from FY 21 at $55,040.00. An increase of $500.00 for the town website was funded by reducing the computer hardware line item by the same amount. Budget will be moved forward to the Select Board for inclusion in the annual budget.
- Continue VOIP phone discussion.
Discussion regarding differences in Hosted and Un-hosted VOIP technology for municipal phone system was continued. Differences include cost of hardware and/ or storage equipment and whether a system should be onsite or utilize remote storage. Questions are ongoing, a meeting with a vendor of Un-hosted VOIP is to scheduled.
- Old and New business.
Surveillance cameras for Police Department. Revisit discussion regarding security cameras for the Town Hall building and grounds. The police department is researching a three camera, two monitor, local storage surveillance system for the area outside the police department and front door. An earlier discussion regarding cameras and storage for the town hall will be continued to understand the need, equipment and systems that are available for municipal use. The Maintenance Department and Town Administrator will be included in the discussion.
