Attendance: Larry Southard-Chair, Gary Thomas, Terry Gould, Brandi Page, Ray Ferrin, Kathe Warden, William Elovirta-Becket Chair, Michael Lavery, Chris Swindlehurst, Bev Gilbert, Rick Phair, Deb Clapp, Zoe Smith, Barbara Gallagher & Jen Catolane.
Call to Order: 5:01 PM. Becket Select Board called to order at 5:03 PM.
Informational Session: Introductions were made around the room. Z Smith made a presentation to the group covering the beginnings, structure and operations of South County EMS. This service is made up of Deerfield, Sunderland & Whately. After Z’s presentation there was discussion about what some of the logistics would look like if Otis and Becket were to try to form this type of shared service. Both Boards wanted to start with seeing if Bruce Baxter, who had done the original report for South County, would do an assessment and report for Otis & Becket. Kathe and Brandi are going to meet with Smitty and Paul Mark to explore any options for grants funds for this consultant. Ray Ferrin had drafted a report about a shared service between Otis & Becket. He passed out copies to those in attendance.
