MINUTES
1. Call to order & Introductions.
a. Meeting called by Jennifer Catolane at 6:04pm
b. Board Members Present: Jennifer Catolane, Dana Pustinger, Kelly Kennedy, and Wendy Peterson
c. Board Members Absent: Robin Martin
d. Others Present: None
2. Review and approval of prior meeting(s) minutes. Dana Pustinger motioned to approve February 16th meeting minutes; all members approved.
3. Accounting.
a. FY23 Budget balance. Reviewed, no questions.
b. FY23 Revolving balance. Reviewed, no questions.
4. FY24 Budget Proposal. March 9th Dana Pustinger and Jennifer Catolane met with finance committee to discuss FY24 budget. No big changes to the budget, lowered recreation supplies from $1,200 to $500 and removed continuing education for $500. The finance committee is also moving exercise classes to COA budget for FY24. Harmony Hall building expense line items and beach line items are also not going to be the responsibility of the recreation committee going forward.
5. Programs.
a. In-Person Classes/Programs.
i. Chair Yoga with Connie Wilson, Wednesdays, 10:00-11:00AM. No updates.
ii. Mat Yoga with Connie Wilson, Saturdays, 9:30AM-10:45AM. No updates.
b. Other Programs.
i. Funz Trampoline Park jump passes. No passes have been requested since our last meeting. Will post on Facebook.
ii. Ski helmet surplus. No updates.
iii. Otis Ridge Ski Voucher Program. 39 distributed.
iv. Snowman Contest. Pass for this year.
v. Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday April 1st 10am. Posted even on Facebook. Robin & Wendy purchased candy and will stuff 600 eggs. Kelly ordered signs and will pick them up when ready. Dana received the 108 bags for the goodies to hand out to the kids. Robin & Wendy will make Easter bags to hand out to the kids.
vi. Bike helmet surplus. Posted event on Facebook. Robin has keys to get helmets from Harmony Hall.
vii. Workshops. Discuss ideas for possible workshops, Soules Fitness for kids or adult workshop. Karate class. Self defense class. Hula Hoop class. Juggling class.
viii. Performers. Past performers Ed Pop! and Forest Park Zoo on the Go. Ideas for performs juggler, bubble man, jump rope guy Lee school recently had.
6. Community Survey – Google forms. No updates.
7. Memos. Annual Report needs to be submitted, reviewed and updated prior year submission with board members.
8. Old Business. None.
9. New Business. Discussed need for equipment maintenance usually performed in the spring; will follow up with Brandi.
10. Set next meeting date. Tentatively Tuesday, April 4, 2023, 6pm.
