1. Call to order & Introductions.
a. Meeting called to order at 6:35
b. Board Members Present: Dana Pustinger, Robin Martin, Wendy Peterson, Kelly Kennedy, and Jennifer Catolane
c. Board Members Absent: None
d. Others Present: Joseph Doboszynski
1. Review and approval of prior meeting(s) minutes. Approved prior 1/29/2024 meeting minutes unanimously.
2. Accounting.
a. FY24 Budget balance. Reviewed, no questions.
b. FY25 Budget. No update.
3. Programs/Events.
i. Funz Trampoline Park jump passes. 5 passes left, Dana will request more.
ii. Otis Ridge Ski Voucher Program. “Otis Day” Sunday March 10 , 9am-4pm – full time Otis residents, lift pass and rentals included. Email Heather at healthdept@townofotisma.com
iii. Snowman Contest – February Vacation – NO SNOW – Event canceled!
iv. Kids Fitness Class – tentatively Saturday March 9, 10-11am – need to reschedule.
v. Easter Egg Hunt – tentatively Saturday March 30, 10am – order pre filled plastic eggs, order more bags, need hot cocoa and easter cookies, cups at Harmony Hall
vi. Pickleball update – Monday, March 11, 2024 – 5:30-8:30
Get there early about 5pm to set up nets. Joe has a few extra paddles and will bring extra balls. Posted on FB for attendees to bring their own paddles if they own one.
4. Memos. Review email from Denise Hardie regarding charging fees for children’s activities. The Commission is forwarding email to the Town Administrator and Selectboard for guidance.
5. Old Business.
6. New Business. Since we are starting a new pickleball program in a couple weeks we will hold off starting any other sports. If any interested parties would like to volunteer to get other sports groups going, the rec center would be willing to work with you as best we can.
