Planning Board Meeting Minutes May 8, 2023
Call to order 7:01 PM

Terry motion to accept, Jim second, all in favor.
- Any other business old or new.
-Barb went to selectboard meeting, updates
Otis rescue squad is in need of volunteers, they are looking to see if they can partner with becket or other nearby towns?
End result, works for some towns to partner if they are close together and close to hospital might not be practical for other towns.
Selectboard plans on meeting again to continue discussion, we are far from hospital so response time is issue, central location for emergency vehicles, money, good volunteers
-STR bylaws are being tabled by selectboard for now.
-Ice cream shop, Jim is on zoning, meeting did not come to a vote, withdrawal without prejudice, were concerns on dangerous road in that area,
Do we have enough employees for another business, katies is struggling to get help
-Jims last meeting, we all wish Jim well, Hal is on ballot for Jim’s seat,
Town meeting is May 16
