Otis Cultural Council
June 16, 2021
I. Call to order: Meeting was called to order at 6:10 PM. Present were Jeanne Randorf, Arlene Tolopko, Carol, Lombardo, Deb Fogel, Shanon Albee and Maggie Bragagnolo.
II. Approval of the Minutes of April 21, 2021 : Minutes of April 21, 2021 were not available yet and will be voted on at our July 21 meeting.
III. Chair Report:
A. Flower Barrels : All barrels have gardeners working on them. Two new barrels have been purchased. Maggie will be taking care of the transfer station barrels.
B. New Meeting Requirements: We will be using a hybrid model for our
meetings. Members who can’t attend in person can still use Zoom.
IV. Financial Update: We have received reimbursement requests in the amount of
$4,750 for programs at FRRES.
V. 2021 Grants :
A. Reconsideration of Grant #35 : We voted to spend $200 for 8 tickets to “Rites of
Passage” production as our donation. Tickets will be given to members of the
Otis community.
B. Other programs: The school play was wonderful. Great job by the students and
staff.
VI. Recycling program:
No progress has been made on getting a quote for the message board for the
school. We have $15,000 in our account . Maggie will help with recycling.
VII. Proposed Meeting schedule for 2021 : July 21, August 18, September 15, October 27 or November 3 voting meeting (exception to the 3rd Wed. schedule)
