Steve McCallister asked for $23,000 for the design services and architecture fees.
Gail spoke with Steve McCallister. He said that with the extra money, he hoped we could do the tower. Wouldn’t be sure until he got a better sense from the electrical engineer.
When asked about the delays, Steve said they were due to the powder post beetles and the estimates that took a month or two.
Diane reported that there is movement on the land transfer. The appraiser will be available on June 30th. When completed, Diane will be able to send the appraisal to the bank.
The OHC is responsible for the East Otis School House and would like to be informed of any activity there.
The Knox Trail Riders Hike event went very well. There is a recording which we will get a copy of.
Diane reported that the reenactment at the Bidwell House will be used in the video of the Knox Trail. When the video is complete, the Cultural Council will pay Josh for his services.
Lynn and Tricia will work together on the district signage.
Charles Flint visited the Friday Club and examined some of the items. He identified some things there as having no connection to Otis but they do have value. Since they are the property of Otis, we will send a letter to the BOS asking for permission to sell them. This permission needs to be in writing.
