NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Otis Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 7:00 PM. This will be a Virtual Meeting

Pursuant to the Governor’s March 12, 2020 order suspending and the Governor’s June 16, 2021 order amending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, Sec 18, this meeting is being held via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. Every effort is being made to ensure that any member of the public may access the meeting in real time, via technological means. Agendas will be amended to show the link and participation code to access the meeting no sooner than 48 hours before. Recordings and/or draft proceedings of the meeting will be available on our website as soon as possible.
Subject of said hearing will be the application of Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless, for a Zoning By-Law Special Permit under Sec. 6.5.4 of the Otis Zoning by-laws to erect a one hundred fifty-foot (150’) tall monopole and two concrete pads to house equipment.
Verizon Wireless will fly a balloon at the proposed site for public viewing on August 19, 2023, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. In the event of inclement weather, the balloon flight will be held on August 20, 2023, at the same time. For any questions regarding the balloon flight, contact Ellen W. The lot is listed in the Otis Assessor’s records as Lot 118 on Map 6; located at 72 Marcy Road, Otis, MA.
