Attendance: Larry Southard, Terry Gould- Acting Chair, Brandi Page, Diane Dyer, Sue Ebitz, Denise Hardie, Eric Kreis and B.J. O’Brien. On Zoom: None
Call to Order: 6:30 PM
Approval of Minutes: The minutes from 8th were approved as amended and from October 16th as written.
Surplus Rec Items: We were able to surplus four items from Harmony Hall. We will try again in the coming months and advertise better.
Transfer Station Winter Hours: The Board discussed the Thursday hours. The idea was to be open 9-5 instead of 10-6 during the winter months. Matt worked a recent Thursday and counted over 15 people that came between 5 and 6 pm. Eric Kreis recommended not changing the hours. The Board discussed and decided to keep the hours the same. Eric will continue to add some lighting.
Appointments: The Board discussed the creation of the Library Building Committee which will be doing the heavy lifting for the work on design for a new library. The Board appointed Sue Brofman, Tom Burke and Stephanie Skinner. We will hopefully get additional interest. The Board reviewed an application for the Council on Aging. They appointed Kendra Rybacki with a term ending June 30, 2026. We will be posting vacancies on the Finance Committee.
Special Town Meeting: Brandi updated the Board on some possible items if we were to have a special town meeting. We have no update on the RDA from the School Committee. STM to be determined.
Recent and Upcoming Events: Trunk or Treat is Saturday 6-8 pm. Nov 12th is the Veterans Day Brunch at the School 9:00 am.
Review & Approval of Warrants: Payroll and vendor warrants are on the table for signature.
Not Anticipated by the Board: Planning Board Chair had forwarded an updated fee schedule from last night’s meeting. The Board was ok with the new fees.
