Scholarship Opportunity – Courtesy Post from Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation

I am trying to get the word out about a new scholarship that is available to residents of New Marlborough, Monterey, Otis, Sheffield, and Sandisfield who are pursuing a technical or vocational degree or certificate. The Robert Annelli Family Scholarship can be used towards an education in the trades or technical fields at a community college, technical, vocational, or trade school, or professional training program. The scholarship can also be used for certification/licensure fees and/or the cost of licensure testing (if applicable), as well as tools, books, transportation, or childcare expenses. Individuals who have not completed high school or a high school equivalency program are eligible.

The deadline to apply is March 15, which is just a little over three weeks away. To apply, candidates need to create an account on our scholarship portal and complete the relevant application. Adults and non-traditional students should complete the Scholarship Application for Adult Learners. Current high school seniors should who are pursuing an education in the trades should complete the Scholarship Application for High School Students. Applicants will automatically be considered for all scholarships they are eligible for (e.g., the William J. Newton Memorial Scholarship). Potential candidates may contact me at scholarships@berkshiretaconic.org if they have any questions.

Thanks in advance for your support. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,
