Planning Board Meeting Minutes
February 12, 2018
Town Hall Inspectors’ Office
Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm in the Otis Town Hall Inspectors’ Room. The meeting is recorded and a quorum is present.
Present: Michael Ernst, Jim Kauffman, Terry Cook, Jen Daily, Hal Kobrin, Al Koivisto, Chris Tryon
Approval of Minutes: The November 13, 2017 Planning Board meeting minutes were unanimously approved as written. Terry made the motion to accept and Hal seconded.
Form A ANR for Farmington River Regional School District: Chris Tryon presented the lot split mapping for 555 North Main Road, Map 10 Lot 142, Farmington River Regional School. Just under nine acres will be split from the school property leaving just over 29 acres for the school property. The split begins from the back pin of the Highway lot where the sand & stone shed is located, Map 10 Lot 18, and extends to the corner pin of the school lot heading northwest for 678.31 feet. This Form A ANR also joins the two Highway lots at 417 North Main Road, Map 10 Lots 18 and 19, into a single combined lot. The new lot split contains more than the minimum road frontage and more than the minimum acreage so the Form A ANR was unanimously approved for three lots. Hal moved to accept and Jen seconded. Two paper copies for Town Hall and one mylar were signed, and a fee of $105.00 was paid.
Discuss Annual Town Report and FY 2019 Budgets: Due to the mailings we had for Public Hearings, the Board decided to increase the budget amount for postage. Everything else will be level-funded. Everyone agreed to use last year’s report again this year for the Annual Town Report.
Other:
TIP and TAC Town Representative: Hal served as the only town designated non-voting member because only Select Board members and Town Administrators are permitted to vote. When Hal left the position Chris Morris was designated and now that Chris has left we no longer have a representative.
Michael moved the meeting be adjourned, Terry seconded, and the meeting was unanimously adjourned at 7:25 pm.
