Sue called the meeting to order at 6:06 PM
- June Meeting Minutes and Special Meeting Minutes – Unanimously approved
- Treasurer’s Report – Tom reported that we are waiting for the warrant.
- Director’s Report- Brad Havill
Ordered 72 books for this month, lots of books coming in from previous orders, lots of new films as well, including several classic films that patrons have been asking for.
Attendance: Week of June 19th: 138 adults, 7 children, 3 teens* – 12 computer users
Week of June 26th: 152 adults, 18 children, 1 teen* – 20 computer users
Week of July 3rd: 167 adults, 13 children, 12 teens* – 20 computer users
Week of July 10th: 100 adults, 6 children, 2 teens – 11 computer users (as of 4 pm)
We guestimate the ages of Teens/YA
ILL: 2-3 bins on Wednesday, 1-2 bins on Friday.
- We have welcomed Molly to the team, and she has been very helpful.
- We are continuing to work on the shelf read as a team. I have started to work on the ARIS report which is due on August 18th.
- Kyle will be helping us to redo the electronic tracking of passes, attendance, etc.
- I will be working with the director of the Granville Library, Lise LeTellier. There is a program from CWMARS that I signed up for to essentially work with another library director who will serve as a mentor. I am hoping to meet with Ms. LeTellier next Tuesday.
- Old/Ongoing Business: The staff and Board discussed each fair department using the following chart and unanimously agreed to revisit discussion and decision-making for the July 2024 Fair at the monthly meeting in January.

- online forum facilitated by Kristi Chadwick from MBLC on Tuesday, July 25th at 7:00PM. Susan Surveys “open” till July 15th.
- Special Collection Policy (Celeste, Carol, Jim and Brad) – Update given
- Carol shared that Otis Library Book Club: (Carol) “A Rule Against Murder” by Louise Penny, Monday, August 7, from 4:00 – 5:30 in the Roosevelt Room at the Otis Library.
- StoryWalk: “Those Shoes” Susan reported that Lyn O’Brien suggested that we have a work party to clean up the trail later this fall. The Board was appreciative and receptive to this suggestion.
- The Building Subcommittee will meet soon to continue the process.
