The Town of Otis will receive bids for Mass DOT approved applications for the Culvert/ Headwall Replacement on Algerie Road until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Bids are to be submitted in sealed envelopes plainly marked: INVITATION TO BID – 2025-02 OHD Culvert Replacement to the Board of Selectmen’s Office, Otis Town Hall, 1 North Main Road, P.O. Box 237, Otis, MA 01253 on or before the above date and time. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Complete bid packet can be requested by emailing townadmin@townofotisma.com. Entire project including material has an estimated value of $50,000. Project to be completed per current Mass DOT specifications. Project is to be bid as one package. Prevailing wage applies as per M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27F and a wage schedule is included in the specifications. A 100% performance bond is required of successful bidder, 5% deposit required with bid.
