MINUTES
Otis Cultural Council
March 20, 2024
This meeting was conducted in person.
I. Call to Order: Present: Jeanne Randorf, Carole Burke, Arlene Tolopko, Deb Fogel, Carol Lombardo
II. Approval of the Minutes of 8/16/23: The minutes were approved.
III. Chair Report (Jeanne):
1. Jeanne will have to step away from her role as chair of the Otis Cultural Council for one year. Carole Burke is willing to take over the role.
2. Jeanne asked for volunteers for the gardening project and to write for the Otis Observer.
IV. Financial Report: The financial report was filed last fall. Treasurer Shanon Albee was not at the meeting.
V. 2024 Programs:
1. The Juckets: Arlene will contact Jane Pfeiffer. The fee for the performance is $500.00
2. Melissa Simonelli is interested in having a car show in Otis.
3. Community Table: Stephanie Skinner is looking for volunteers for the Otis Farmer’s Market to inform the public about community events in Otis.
4. Line Dancing: Line Dancing was a huge success at the Knox Trail Inn.
VI. Recycling Program: Deb reported that the program has been very busy.
