Otis Council on Aging Board Meeting December 11, 2023
Meeting was called to order at 9:30 am.
Attending was Eila Bell, Diane Dyer, Kendra Rybacki, Janice Hawley, Evie Loring, Dede Loring.
Secretary’s report was read and accepted as read.
The Treasurer’s report was read, and accepted as read.
Treasure’s report – we had a balance of 15,841.35.
At this time, we had a delayed payment of 12,390 to the Travel Group due to a late invoice for our Maine trip.
We also had a payment to the Knox Trail Inn for our Thanksgiving Luncheon. We are in balance with our Berkshire Bank account and are currently depositing for our upcoming trips.
Old Business
Pizza Party signup sheet is ready,
Larry Southard will entertain.
Russell Inn, and the Big Y will be called to price pizza.
Trips- Diane and Elsi have three trips scheduled:

Isles of Shoals (Portsmouth Harbor Cruise, NH) July 25, 2024
Margaritaville on Cape Cod (September 23-25)
New Business
The pink lift chair will be offered to townspeople.
Smile Like Jack Foundation has offered to supply to the COA with something we need or would like.
We dedicated a space for keeping our craft supplies.
Laurie Loring has volunteered to lead crafts.
A donation Jar will be put in the craft aera to support materials.
It was suggested the Thanksgiving luncheon be held at the town hall and we could have it catered.
Exploring the possibility of a movie night here on Saturdays. Eila will ask what we need to show a movie. We could try for a Saturday afternoon. Eila will start looking into the possibility.
Hair Cuts will be on the first Monday of the Month.
The foot nurse will be here on the second Monday of the month.
MLK day will be closed. Open if we can.
March schedule:
March 15 St Patrick’s Day. Sunday March 17th. Corned beef dinner here?????? Tabled until next month.
