Notice is hereby given that the Otis Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a public meeting on
MONDAY, December 2, 2024, at 7:00 PM
This is a virtual meeting and will be conducted remotely through Zoom.

Pursuant to the Governor’s March 12, 2020, order suspending and the Governor’s June 16, 2021, order amending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, Sec 18, this meeting is being held via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. Every effort is being made to ensure that any member of the public may access the meeting in real time, via technological means. Agendas will be amended to show the link and participation code to access the meeting no sooner than 48 hours before. Recordings and/or draft proceedings of the meeting will be available on our website as soon as possible.

The agenda is as follows:
- Open Meeting/Introductions
- Subject of said hearing will be the applications of D&J Development LLC, PO Box 953, East Otis MA 01029:
- An application to modify an existing Special Permit under Section 3.3.3 for a structure at 1341 Reservoir Road, Map ID 16B-3. Modifications to consist of the following:
- Reducing interior space to 16’ x 29’ to create an exterior covered porch.
- Increasing the roof height by 2.6’ to 14’6” overall.
- Reconfiguring doors and windows to provide accessibility compliance.
- Reducing the length of the structure by 2’.
- Provide 4’ wide concrete sidewalk along Northerly and Westerly sides of the structure.
- An Application for a Special permit under Section 4.3 for a Retail Eating Establishment, at 1341 Reservoir Road, Map ID 16B-3. A seasonal, “Snack Shack” would operate Wednesday through Sunday, 6AM to 4PM on a seasonal basis. This “takeout” eating establishment will utilize shared off street parking with the Marina, located at 1341 Reservoir Road, which has Ninety (90) vehicle parking spaces. Four (4) boat slips will be secured for public access to the “Snack Shack”.

Pursuant to MGL. 7c. 30A sec. 20 (f), after notifying the chair of the public body, any person may make a video or audio recording of an open session of a meeting of a public body or may transmit the meeting through any medium. At the beginning of the meeting, the chair shall inform other attendees of any such recordings. Any member of the public wishing to speak at the meeting must receive permission of the chair. The listings of agenda items are those reasonably anticipated by the chair which may be discussed at the meeting.
