MINUTES
Otis Cultural Council
June 19, 2024
This meeting was conducted in person at Town Hall.
I. Call to Order: 6:02 Present: Jeanne Randorf, Carole Burke, Arlene Tolopko, Deb Fogel
II. Approval of the Minutes of 5/15/24: Deb motioned to approve the minutes. Arlene seconded the motion. The minutes were approved.
III. Chair Report (Jeanne):
A. Community Table at Farmers Market: Stephanie Skinner has a sign-up sheet.
B. Member Terms/Status: Jeanne has to take a year off as a voting member of the council.
C. Election of New Chairperson: Arlene nominated Carole Burke. Deb seconded the motion.
D. Tag Sale: OPT will be having a community tag sale. Date TBD.
IV. Financial Report: Shanon did not attend the meeting.
V. 2024 Programs:
A. The Juckets: August 18 from 4-6 p.m. in the gazebo at Town Hall.
B. Status of Dragon Sculpture: Ken Paki is making a bench for the school.
C. Departure of Michael Flower: The music teacher at the school has resigned.
VI. Recycling Program: Deb reported that the program is doing well.
VII. Other Business
A. Survey: Jeanne will send a survey link from the Ashford Cultural Council. Please submit the survey by 6/21/24.
The next meeting will be on July 17, 2024, at 6:00.
