Select Board Meeting Minutes
November 14, 2017
Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm in the Town Hall conference room. It’s being recorded and a quorum is present.
Present: Select Board Chair Bill Hiller, Selectman Gary Thomas, George Mengel, Michael O’Brien, Terry Gould, Michael Ernst, Larry Gould, Roberta Sarnacki, Sonia Morrison, Karen Fink, Ryan Mackbach
Approval of Minutes: Approval of the October 23, 2017 All Boards meeting minutes and the October 24, 2017 Select Board meeting minutes were unanimously approved as written.
Appointment of At Large position to Town Administrator Search Committee. George Mengel was the only applicant and had previously served when Chris was first hired. He was unanimously appointed to the committee.
Other:
Otis Zoning Sign Bylaw 5.2: The Planning Board chairman presented the final version of the revisions to the Otis Zoning Board Sign Bylaw 5.2 to the Select Board and formally requested it go onto a Town Meeting warrant. The Board members agreed to do so.
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church: Clark & Green have been notified they were granted the award and they recommended Sonia contact Chris to see if there was a contract with them yet.
Gingerbread House: The volunteer to pick up supplies has not heard from the Rec. Center yet and was wondering if they still needed someone to get supplies. They’ll need the list soon. If Rec does not contact this person soon, they won’t have time to get the supplies.
Holiday Party: The Select Board members are waiting to hear from Don as to his preference before making a decision.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:09 pm.
