Minutes
1. Call to order & Introductions.
a. Meeting called to order at 6:31 P.M
b. Board Members Present: Dana Pustinger, Robin Martin, Wendy Peterson, and Kelly Kennedy.
c. Board Members Absent: None
d. Others Present: None
2. Review and approval of prior meeting(s) minutes. Approved prior 7/10/2024 meeting minutes unanimously.
3. Accounting.
a. FY25 Budget balance – Discussed pickleball equipment and snow cone machine from Obstacle Challenge reimbursements.
4. Programs/Events.
i. Funz Trampoline Park jump pass – No update
ii. Obstacle Course Challenge follow up – We had about 25 kids in attendance. Low attendance this year. Month? Day of the week? Advertising? Discussed purchasing more inflatables for new events and an Obstacle Course sign with no date so it can be reused. Dana will look into it.
iii. Pickleball – Discussed correspondence with Brandi to have discussion with selectboard about repurposing skate park to include Pickleball courts. Agreed we would like to be put on agenda to discuss. Dana will let Brandi know.
1. Discussed Joe’s suggestions for Pickleball. Dana has emailed Otis Observer to have Pickleball listed in Out and About Section. Waiting to hear back.
iv. Trunk or Treat – October 26, 6-8 pm. 4 pm set up. No Trick or Treat this year. Robin is decorating her car, will have Rec candy handed out from her car. The haunted lodge will be back again this year. Dana will email Eric to get permission to use parking lot for Trunk or Treat and to get details on volunteers needed for haunted lodge. Dana will email DOT to ask to borrow tower light. Dana will price out full size candy bars. Registration will be through email to the Rec email again this year – will ask to let us know if they will have trailer so spaces can be organized appropriately. Dana will email Tammy from Otis PD about traffic control and donation of gift cards for trunk contest. Top 3 prizes again this year – need judges. Will reach out to judges from last year. Kelly will order new Trunk or Treat signs.

a. Discussed ordering tank tops to wear at summer events. Dana will see if we have logo and talk to local printer about printing some for us.
