Attendance: Larry Southard- Chair, Terry Gould and Brandi Page. On Zoom: Gary Thomas.
Call to Order: 6:30 PM
Approval of Minutes: The minutes from 2/01/2024, 2/08/2024, 2/22/2024, 2/29/2024, 3/14/2024, 3/26/2024 and 4/02/2024 were approved as written. The minutes from 03/21/2024 were approved as amended.
Ch. 61 Withdrawal: The Board unanimously reviewed the letter from the representing attorney for the Sumner property on West Center Road. The property is under a purchase agreement and is being withdrawn from its Chapter 61 program. Duane, our Assessor, is calculating the rollback tax that will be due. The Board unanimously agreed to waive their right to purchase Map 6 lots 84 & 198. Brandi will send a letter to the attorney in the morning.
EMS Discussion: Brandi updated the Board on the discussion that took place at the Lenox Town Hall on March 22nd. Leaders from various towns, groups and EMS personnel came together to discuss the ongoing challenges that EMS organizations are facing. Smitty Pignatelli facilitated and drafted action items from the discussion. The group will meet again on May 3rd. Brandi encouraged anyone that’s interested to attend and she will keep the Board updated.
Election Ballot: The Board reviewed the language from Bond Counsel for the upcoming borrowing for the Annex. They voted unanimously to instruct the Town Clerk to include the ballot question on this year’s ballot for May 28th.
Finance Policy: The Board reviewed the Town Finance Policy draft. Terry had a few questions. The Board unanimously voted to adopt the policy effective May 22nd, 2024. There are two small parts that also need to pass on the warrant at Town Meeting. Once that happens the policy is fully in place. Previous reviews were done by the Accountant, Treasurer & Finance Committee.

Review & Approval of Warrants: Payroll and vendor warrants are on the table for signature.
