3. Selection of chair July1, 2023-June 30, 2024
Motion : Terry made the motion to nominate Jill Moretz as chair for the period of July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.

Discussion if any: discussion of duties and responsibilities. Jill accepted the nomination:

4. Year-end transfers:
Discussion of the reasons needed for annual year-end transfers. Terry presented the currently accepted transfers that the board had been made aware of individually and agreed to.
Vote to transfer $7,700.00 from 01.912.5170.000000 Unemployment Benefits to 01.945.5780.019454 Insurance Contingency.
Vote to transfer $25,800.00 from 0l.422.5118.014221 Highway Regular Salaries to 0l .423.5480.014233 Snow & Ice Fuel.
Terry explained the future transfers that would be presented at the next selectboard meeting and that the firm numbers would be available at the next selectboard meeting. After a short discussion and clarification, Jill made a motion to accept the year-end transfers.
