MINUTES
Otis Cultural Council
November 15, 2023
This meeting was conducted in person.
I. Call to Order: 6:15 p.m. Present: Jeanne Randorf, Carole Burke, Arlene Tolopko, Shanon Albee, Deb Fogel, Carol Lombardo
II. Approval of the Minutes of 8/16/23: Carol Lombardo approved the minutes, Deb Fogel seconded the motion. The minutes were approved.
III. Chair Report (Jeanne):
1. The school is interested in purchasing standing desks for the students. Jeanne asked the state if we could use recycling funds for the purchase. The state responded that all purchases must benefit the arts in the community. The members agreed to review this request at a later date.
IV. Financial Report (Shanon): The Otis Cultural Council was given $5,500 from the state and $5,000 from the town, for a total of $10,500. There is currently $13,600 left in the recycling fund.
V. Recycling Program: Deb reported that the program has been very busy.
