Select Board Meeting Minutes
February 6, 2019
The Select Board Chairman Don Hawley called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm in the Town Hall conference room to conduct an interview for part-time, fill in Police Officers.
Select Board Present: Chairman Don Hawley, Bill Hiller, Gary Thomas
Others Present: Town Administrator Rebecca Stone, Interim Police Chief Dan Hamill, Haven Orecchio
The Select Board conducted interviews with the following candidate for the part-time, fill in Police Officer positions: Kevin Conboy. Mr. Conboy offered background information, availability, and explained his interest in serving the Otis community.
Interim Police Chief Hamill to offer his recommendations for Police Department staffing to the Select Board at their next meeting on February 12, 2019.
Other Business: The Town Administrator presented a request for usage of the Town Beach for a kayak tournament by a private company. The Select Board discussed options and parking issues, and was not in favor of the tournament for a number of reasons. Ms. Stone will notify the company.
The Select Board meeting was unanimously adjourned at 5:56 p.m.
