MINUTES
Meeting called by & time: Kathy Carroll, 6:14PM.
Meeting facilitated by: Kathy Carroll.
Board Members Present: Kathy Carroll, Mary Adams, Dana Pustinger.
Board Members Absent: Bill Dyer.
Others Present: Patricia Richard, Program Supervisor.
- Introductions. None needed.
- FY20 Budget Proposal. Reviewed draft. 1. Briefly discussed the kayaks and a possible program during July & August. Patricia will check into Town liability with Becky Stone, possible storage might be the Town Beach shed. 2. Day-use tourism line item – included for www.noticeotis.com OTIS bumper stickers. 3. A projector/screen was briefly discussed for the Town Hall by various departments recently – could be used for presentations to town meetings to movies. Info to be sent to Technology Committee. This would be noted on our budget but not included in our budget. Patricia will include this info on the All Board’s update. 4. Advertising – discussed and approved to increase Sandisfield Times advertising to monthly versus bi-monthly. Budget revisions will be made and reviewed at next week’s meeting.
- Old Business. Rec Center bags – discussed and approved distributing bags to all Rec Center applicants, not just Non-Otis applicants as originally decided.
- New Business. 1. Movie Night—moved to Town Hall, distribute surveys, Patricia will sub 1/18/19. 2. Discussed the annual Mass Rec & Park Association conference. Patricia will attend with a Commissioner.
