PLANNING BOARD MEETING Minutes
March 9, 2020
Present: Hal Kobrin, Jim Kauffman, Rona Knight
Public Attendees: Michael Knight, Barbara Gallagher
The meeting was called to order at 7:02 PM.
Hal reported about the last Select Board meeting in which Complete Streets and the 5 Year Plan was discussed. The Board discussed the possibility of joint meeting of the Select Board and the Planning Board to better understand each Board’s responsibilities and the coordination between the two Boards. Rona volunteered to begin to set this meeting up.
Hal distributed the solar farming materials he had received from BRPC, IDA, East Hampton, and from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Environmental Affairs. We will read the materials for discussion at our next meeting.
There was a discussion of being able to have board members participate remotely. Jim made a motion to meet remotely, seconded by Hal. We will ask Stacy to find out how to set this up. All approved.
The Road Survey document was discussed and the board decided it would be best handled along with the Complete Streets grant application.
Jim mad a motion to end the meeting. Hal seconded and the meeting was adjourned at 7:42 PM.
