Members Present: Nick DellaGiustina, Jessica Drenga, Alicia Dunaj, Carol Lombardo, John Skrip, Tom Nadolny, Jane Gleason, JoAnn Austin, Teresa DellaGiustina
Absent: Arlene Tolopko, Sandy Snyder
Guests: Tara Consolati, Sherry DeCelle, Craig Drenga, Jonina Decker, Meaghan Martin, Ilona Packie, and Mary Turo
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by the chair, Alicia Dunaj.
Approval of Minutes of Meeting #332 and #333: The Minutes of Meeting #332 and #333 were unanimously approved as submitted. #332 Motioned by Carol Lombardo, Seconded by Jess Drenga. #333 Motioned by Nick DellaGiustina, Seconded: John Skrip.
Will the School Committee vote to approve and adopt the 2016-2017 school budget: Vote Required. Two votes required: 1. To pass the school budget. 2. Vote to pass the school bond associated with the budget. The School Committee after reviewing the presented information, unanimously voted to accept the 2016-2017 school budget and the bond payment. Motioned by Carol Lombardo, Seconded by Jess Drenga. Passed unanimously.
Will the School Committee vote to adopt the 2016-2017 school calendar? VOTE REQUIRED. The School Committee voted unanimously to adopt the 2016-2017 school calendar. Motioned by Jess Drenga, seconded by John Skrip
Will the School Committee vote to revise the Public Participation at School Committee Meeting Policy? VOTE REQUIRED With many questions arising from the public, the School Committee decided to table this article until the April meeting. Motioned by Carol Lombardo, seconded by John Skrip
Information on BHRSD meeting—discussed by John Skrip: The first meeting is set up for April 27, 2016 at 7:00pm, here at Farmington River School in the library. Also, the next meeting between Farmington and SBRSD is scheduled for March 21, 2016.
Adjournment: Motion to adjourn by Carlol Lombardo, seconded by Alicia Dunaj. Meeting was called at 7:35p.m.
