Board Members Present: Bob Rosen, Kathy Carroll, Bill Dyer.
Board Members Absent: None.
Others Present: Chris Morris, Town Administrator.
Introductions. None needed.
Personnel policies and procedures for reclassification of grade level and salary adjustment.
The Recreation Commissioners provided a list of questions for Chris regarding the grade level reclassification and salary adjustment as per the Personnel Policy Manual.
Chris will provide the form and necessary information within the next couple days to the Recreation Commissioners in order to submit a grade level reclassification. Grade level=job responsibilities. Chris will review the classification plan, point rating system and determine if the job position description should be moved to a different grade level. If not satisfied with his determination, it can be appealed and be brought before the Select Board. Memo will be included with submission of the FY17 budget explaining the staff line item amount.
Town Compensation Plan FY16. Recreation Commissioners inquired how does an employee move on the per hour salary scale. Chris explained this involves amount of time working for the Town, knowledge and evaluations. Recreation Commissioners include the suggested increase and Finance Board and Select Board make the final decision.
